Ivens is best known for her portrayal of Simone Torres on All My Children — a role she originated in October 2001 and portrayed until December 2006. Her feature film credits include; Jimmy Hollywood, with Joe Pesci, and Marked for Death, with Steven Seagal. Her television credits include roles in The Barefoot Executive, with Jason London, There Was a Little Boy, with Scott Bairstow, and Breast Men. She also had guest appearances in Roseanne, Boy Meets World, Coach, Melrose Place, Baywatch, Married... with Children and Highway to Heaven. She has also done voice work for the classic Lucas Arts adventure game, Grim Fandango, as Lupe.

Carlos Gomez's career spans over twenty years in film, television and theatre. The award winning actor is one of the leads in the A&E series "The Glades". Garnering critical praise prior to its launch, The Glades became the most watched original drama series telecast in A&E network history. Carlos also received a 2011 Imagen Award for best supporting actor in a television series for the show. Audiences will remember Carlos as "Chuy", the ex boyfriend of the talented and beautiful Salma Hayek in the hit romantic comedy Fools Rush In. Other film credits include The Negotiator, Enemy of the State, The Repalcement Killers, A Day Without a Mexican, The Perfect Game, And All About Steve starring Sandra Bullock. In 2003, he appeared as Lieutenant Alvarez in the Academy Award nominated film House of Sand and Fog, starring Sir Ben Kingsley, and Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly. In television he appeared as paramedic Raul Melendez in the hit series ER which garnered him a Sag Award for best ensemble cast for the episode "The Healers". He has portrayed an extensive variety of roles in some of the highest rated TV shows such as, Friends, Nypd Blue, Boston Legal, Ncis, Criminal Minds, In Plain Sight, Charmed, Shark and the critically acclaimed Showtime series Sleeper Cell and Weeds. In theatre, Carlos completed over three hundred performances as Kevin Rosario on Broadway in the Tony Award winning musical 'In The Heights'. His two songs Inutil and Atencion were both part of the Grammy Award winning soundtrack musical as well. Carlos resides in Los Angeles, New York and Miami.  

His television debut was in the series Models Inc. in 1994. In 1995, he was cast as Bobby Warner in the soap opera All My Children, on which he appeared until 1997.

In 2001 he appeared in the role as angel/vampire hunter Rafe Kovich on the General Hospital spinoff Port Charles.^[1] He continued with the role until the show was canceled in 2003.

After Port Charles was canceled, he appeared as Oscar Marone on The Bold and the Beautiful from 2003 to 2004.

From September 2005 to December 2005, Gaskill briefly joined the cast of As the World Turns as B.J. Green.

In March 2007, Gaskill joined the cast of Guiding Light as a recast of Dylan Lewis, the son of Reva Shayne and Billy Lewis and the estranged father of Daisy Lemay.^[1][2]

Lately Brian has also been directing music videos; including one for Georgette Jones that included her legendary father George Jones, and one for Americana/Rock/Blues artist Anne McCue called "don't go to Texas (without me). The later video made it into the top ten in 2010 on the Logo (TV channel); an MTV subsidiary.
